Daryl Mitchell scored a century and Will Young made 86, but Pakistan successfully chased down New Zealand’s score of 288 with five wickets to spare. Fakhar Zaman made 117 and Babar Azam contributed 49 runs to Pakistan’s total. Young, who played well, may replace the injured Kane Williamson in the New Zealand team for the upcoming World Cup.
