New Zealand reports little over 12,000 new COVID-19 cases in last week with 59 deaths

Over the past week, New Zealand has reported 12,028 new Covid-19 cases, which is a decrease of 2343 cases compared to the previous week. Currently, there are 278 people hospitalized with the virus, including nine in intensive care. Additionally, there have been 59 more deaths attributed to Covid-19, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 3001.
