The diamond, set in a platinum band, is expected to be auctioned for between $250,000 and $370,000, making it the most expensive piece of jewelry ever to be auctioned in the country. Despite its significant price, the diamond’s estimated value is considered competitive, with a retail price estimated at over $500,000.
