The diamond, set in a platinum band, is expected to be auctioned for between $250,000 and $370,000, making it the most expensive piece of jewelry ever to be auctioned in the country. Despite its significant price, the diamond’s estimated value is considered competitive, with a retail price estimated at over $500,000. The stone, which has been assessed by gemologists and certified as natural, is praised for its clarity, color, and cut. It will be available for viewing until the live auction on Sunday.
