Mike Heard from Auckland, New Zealand, has broken the world record for completing 941 bungy jumps within 24 hours, surpassing the previous record of 765 jumps. He embarked on this challenge to raise awareness of mental health issues and raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation, with Kiwis generously donating $7679. Heard, who had held the record previously for most bungy jumps in one hour, aimed to bring this record back to New Zealand, where bungy jumping was invented.
