Senior Sergeant Roger Small noted the suspects allegedly passed fake bills to staff, receiving legitimate change. A 37-year-old man faces charges, while two women await charges. In a separate incident, a man attempted to use counterfeit money for tobacco in east Auckland, fleeing the scene but later apprehended with a firearm in his vehicle.
