New Zealand’s Prime Minister Chris Hipkins met with Prince William and gave him pounamu for his children while exchanging gifts during his visit to the United Kingdom for King Charles III’s coronation. Hipkins and Prince William had a conversation about various issues including climate adaptation and renewable energy at Windsor Castle. Hipkins said he would meet King Charles on Thursday. He described the coronation as a “significant piece of history” and a “great honour and a great privilege to be able to represent New Zealand”.
