Former All Blacks center and Former Kandy Sports Club head coach Bruce Robertson has passed away in New Zealand after a brief illness, he died at the age of 71. Robertson, who was the head coach of the Kandy team led by Sanjeeva Jayasinghe in 2005, had a successful rugby career as a player and coach. He played 34 Tests and more than 100 games for the All Blacks between 1972 and 1981 and was considered one of the greatest centers in New Zealand rugby history. He was known for his pace, silky pass, and thinking approach to the game. Robertson was also a coaching development officer with Auckland and worked as an assistant with the Blues in Super Rugby. His contribution to the game of rugby will be remembered.
