The two-match series is a part of the ICC World Test Championship and is significant to Sri Lanka to get back on track following two recent away losses to New Zealand. Sri Lanka has a mixture of experienced and young players, including young batting sensation Nishan Madushka, who debuted against New Zealand and scored a double century against the Enlarged Lions for a Board XI and 1000 domestic runs in just five innings.
