Sri Lanka scored a huge total of 704/3 and declared on day four of the second Test against Ireland, taking a 212-run lead in the match. Nishan Madushka and Kusal Mendis both scored double centuries, while Angelo Mathews scored his 15th Test hundred, helping Sri Lanka to take a big lead against Ireland. Sri Lanka’s top four batsmen made a century each, only the third such instance in Test history. Pakistan and India are the other two teams to have achieved this rare Test feat.
