Former New Zealand cricket captain Daniel Vettori has been appointed as the new head coach of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. He will be taking over from Brian Lara, who led the team in the previous season. It’s uncertain whether the rest of SRH’s coaching staff, including Muttiah Muralitharan, will remain or be replaced. Vettori, who previously coached Royal Challengers Bangalore and is currently coaching Birmingham Phoenix in the Hundred competition, brings valuable coaching experience to SRH. This move is part of a broader trend of coaching changes in various IPL teams.
