Air New Zealand has introduced a new feature in its app that lets travelers track their checked luggage. This means passengers can see where their bags are during their journey. Other airlines, like United Airlines and Singapore Airlines, have similar features. Air New Zealand tested this service for six months, and over 8,000 passengers successfully tracked their bags. The airline hopes this will make travel less stressful for customers and give them peace of mind about their luggage. If a bag is missing or damaged, passengers can also report it directly through the app.
