Cricket West Indies (CWI) has named Ramesh Subasinghe as the new Head Coach for the West Indies Menโ€™s Academy. Subasinghe, a former Sri Lankan cricketer, brings lots of experience to the role. He’s worked with cricket development in New Zealand before.

He was chosen after a long process with many applicants. Enoch Lewis, from CWI, said they picked him because he’s the best fit for the job.

Subasinghe is excited about his new role and wants to help young cricketers in the West Indies get better. He starts on May 1st and will work from the CWI Headquarters in Antigua. This shows CWI’s commitment to improving cricket in the region.
