After over 40 days of negotiations, the new National coalition government in New Zealand, comprising National, ACT, and New Zealand First, has revealed its cabinet members. The 20-member cabinet includes 14 from National, three from ACT, and three from New Zealand First. Notable roles include Winston Peters as Deputy Prime Minister until May 31, 2025, followed by David Seymour. Key portfolios such as Finance, Health, Education, and Foreign Affairs have been distributed among the parties. Gerry Brownlee is nominated as Speaker of the House. The cabinet reflects a diverse representation from all three coalition parties.
